The creation of the Open Technopark in the south of Nizhniy Novgorod region is connected with the functioning of a large world-class scientific centre – Russian Federal Nuclear
The Open Technopark must be regarded as a cluster of innovation activity, which uses the potential of RFNC-VNIIEF and other scientific centres of the region that closely communicate with industrial enterprises, regional and local authorities. That will allow us to form modern innovation environment in order to support innovation enterprise by way of creating a material and technical, social and cultural, service and financial basis for the effective making, development, supply, and preparation for independent activity of small- and middle-scale innovation enterprises.
The management company of the Open Technopark is LLC «Technologies Transfer Centre »Sistema-Sarov«.
Technopark purpose:
The Technopark is
· To provide functioning of supporting points for the growth of regional innovation infrastructure;
· To create a material and technical, social and cultural, service and financial basis for the effective development of small- and middle-scale innovation enterprises.
Objectives:
- Technology transfer: creating conditions to form an integrated triad »science – education – industrial production".
- Rise in commercial activity: mastering of high-tech competitive products/services in production and creation of the market prerequisites for their realization.
- Development of new activities: helping scientists and specialists in starting and developing small-scale innovation enterprises.
- Regional initiatives support: As the territory of innovation development, the Open Technopark has some tax preferences and that makes investments in projects implemented on this territory very attractive.
